Sioux Falls O'Gorman had enough points by halftime to beat Sturgis 46-23 Saturday in the seventh-place game at the South Dakota girls Class AA basketball tournament.
The Knights (15-11) led 25-14 at the half and coasted through the second half.
Claire Howes scored a team-high nine points and Kate Cartwright and Jessica Mieras added eight each.
O'Gorman's bench outscored Sturgis' reserves 20-5.
Sturgis was led by Lynsey Prosser's nine points. Prosser was 1-for-12 from three-point range and the Scoopers (9-17) were a combined 3-for-31. Sturgis shot 18 percent from the field.
