Cara Ledbetter's two free throws with 2.9 seconds left gave Sioux Falls Lincoln a 50-48 semifinal victory on Friday over Aberdeen Central in the South Dakota Class AA basketball tournament.
Ledbetter scored the final six points of the game for the fifth-seeded Patriots. She finished with 18 points and nine rebounds to lead Lincoln (16-8). Darby Hugunin added 10 points and five rebounds.
Samantha Knecht led top-seeded Central with 15 points. Brynn Flakus added 13 points, while Sara Niederbaumer had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (21-2).
The Patriots shot 36 percent from the field, while Central shot 44 percent.
