Shelby Selland had 22 points and six rebounds to lead Sanborn Central-Woonsocket to a 67-48 win over Parkers in the fifth-place game at the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament on Saturday.
Selland and the Blackhawks (24-2) shot 49 percent from the field and held Parker (16-10) to just 25 percent shooting. Selland was 11-for-18.
Rachel Selland chipped in 12 points and four assists.
SCW scored 22 points off 25 Parker turnovers.
MicalAnne Hanten had a game-high 16 points. But she struggled from three-point range (3-for-10) as did the entire Parker team, which shot just 17 percent from long range.
