Shelby Selland and Marissa Weber combined for 35 points as Sanborn Central-Woonsocket rolled over Timber Lake 73-45 Thursday in the consolation round of the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.
Selland had 18 points on 9-for-12 shooting and Weber added 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting. Weber made five of eight three-pointers for the Blackhawks (23-2).
SC-W shot 67 percent from the field and made seven of 11 three-point attempts. The Blackhawks led 41-19 at halftime.
Kristie Mettler was the leading scorer for Timber Lake (16-9) with 17 points. She made just eight of 22 shots to mirror the Panthers 32 percent effort.
The Panthers made just three of 26 three-point tries.
