Taylor Bauer had 13 points to lead a balanced Rapid City Central attack as the Cobblers defeated Sioux Falls O'Gorman 56-48 in a consolation game Friday at the South Dakota girls Class AA basketball tournament.
Bauer had three of Central's seven three-pointers. Chelsey Carmichael added four three-pointers and 12 points and Tori Holt and Lexy Jo Deneke added 10 points apiece for the Cobblers (14-8).
Central trailed 28-21 at the half. But an 8-0 run to start the second half put it in the lead for good.
Jessica Mieras led O'Gorman (14-11) with 15 points and eight rebounds.
