Kynedi Cheeseman helped lead Hanson to a 50-34 victory over Sully Buttes on Saturday in the third-place game of the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.
Cheeseman posted a double double, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Beaverettes (23-3).
Leading by two at the half, Hanson outscored Sully Buttes 24-10 over the final 16 minutes to pull away for the victory. The Beaverettes shot 37 percent from the field to the Chargers' 39 percent. Hanson outrebounded Sully Buttes 29-19.
Sully Buttes (21-5) was paced by Chloe Lamb with 10 points.
