Funeral Service For Janklow Set For Wednesday

Former South Dakota Gov. Bill Janklow's body will lie in state at the Capitol Rotunda in Pierre on Tuesday before being transferred to Sioux Falls for a funeral service the next day.
Janklow, who served four terms leading the state but resigned as South Dakota's congressman after causing a fatal traffic accident, died Thursday at the age of 72.
The body will lie in state at the Capitol Rotunda in Pierre from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service is to follow at 12:30 p.m.
Janklow's son Russ tells The Associated Press that his father's funeral has been set for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.
A reception and burial will follow but exact details are not yet known.
