Free Archery Training Available For Educators
PIERRE, SD -

Game, Fish and Parks is hosting free archery training to educators. The event will be held at Fort Pierre Elementary on July 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The training is part of the National Archery Safety Program, which allows archery to safely be a part of classroom curriculum. Those who provide home school are also encouraged to attend the free training.

Registration is required and can be done so by emailing outdoorprogramming@gmail.com or by calling 605-220-2130.

Once training has been completed, new schools to the program are eligible to receive free archery equipment and all participants are able to enter their students into the 2015 NASP state tournament.

To learn more about NASP or the event, just check out their website.
