Several crews responded to a house explosion just after 9 a.m. Saturday morning in the city of Tracy, Minnesota
It happened on the 200 block of Elm Street right in the middle of the small southwest Minnesota town.
Firefighters say the family was gone before they arrived on scene, but neighbors say one adult and three children were home when the explosion happened.
The Tracy fire department was busy mopping up the fire and putting out all of the hot spots. Tracy's fire chief Dale Johnson says crews got to the scene and did their job as fast as they could.
"The fire department quickly extinguished the flames and the cause of the fire is now under investigation," Johnson said.
All four people inside the home were airlifted to local hospitals. We've confirmed the name of the adult in the house as Sonia Timmons. Regions Hospital in St. Paul lists her in critical condition. The conditions of the children are still unknown at this time.
