A Rapid City traffic stop led authorities to meth, marijuana and 14 guns.
When a Rapid City Police officer stopped a car early Monday morning, the officer found drug paraphernalia that tested positive for cocaine. That led to a number of search warrants being issued. At four locations, authorities seized more than $56,000 in cash, as well as 14 guns, methamphetamine, and marijuana
Those arrested include:
- Zachary Smith-Cline, 31 of Rapid City, for unauthorized possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana (more than 1 pound, less than 10 pounds), possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and two warrants for failure to appear at a hearing
- Sara Smith-Cline, 32 of Rapid City, arrested for unauthorized possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana (more than 1 pound, less than 10 pounds), and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- David Marshall, 36 of Rapid City, arrested for unauthorized possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Whitney Pavich, 25 of Box Elder, arrested for possession of marijuana
The United State Secret Service is also investigating a counterfeit money lab found during the searches. Additional charges are pending.
