A former New Underwood teacher has pleaded guilty to a sex crime.
Kyle Keegan entered the guilty plea to one count of sexual contact with a minor under age of 16 in Pennington County Courtroom on Monday. In exchange, prosecutors dropped the rape charge he had faced earlier.
Authorities say Keegan had sex with a 15-year-old female student last October in his Rapid City apartment.
