Former State's Attorney Admits Sexual Crimes

We are learning more disturbing details about the former Walworth County State's Attorney, who's charged with raping three young children.

Newly unsealed court documents reveal disturbing crimes committed against three of 34 year old Christopher Jansen's alleged victims and in them, Jansen admits to the crimes. We want to warn you, you may find the details offensive.

34-year-old Christopher Jansen is charged with three counts of first degree rape.

According to these federal court papers obtained by KELOLAND News, Jansen admits he engaged in oral sex with one boy, who was the son of one of his clients.

Jansen told investigators he had several sexual encounters with the child.

Investigators say Jansen videotaped about eight of those encounters, which he stored on his home computer and distributed over the internet.

Jansen referred to himself as a pedophile and indicated that he has been dealing with his attraction since he was 10 or 12 years old and violating minors for a number of years.

Authorities also interviewed Jansen's live in boyfriend of 15 years, who told investigators Jansen has had an attraction to young boys since their college days.

The young boy corroborated Jansen's story and indicated that the incidents took place in the boy's home.

But Jansen also told investigators he had sexual encounters with a total of three minors and produced videos and images with two of them.  

Jansen told law enforcement he gave the other boys and "opt-out" to end their sexual encounters with him, but did not give one of the boys and "opt-out" since the boy was too young to understand.

Jansen was the Walworth County State's Attorney from 2009 to 2012.  According to court papers, the alleged incidents in this case happened over a two and a half year period dating back to June of 2011.
