Former President George H.W. Bush Mourns Janklow

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Former President George H.W. Bush says he and his wife Barbara are saddened to learn of the death of their friend, former South Dakota Gov. and Congressman Bill Janklow.
Janklow died Thursday at age 72.
Bush, in a statement given to the Associated Press, says Janklow served the state of South Dakota ably as governor and then continued his service as a congressman.
Bush says, "The people of South Dakota have lost a great advocate and he will be missed."
An aide for the former president confirms Bush talked to Janklow recently.
The former president says he and Barbara mourn Janklow's passing and send their love to the Janklow family.
