A foreign correspondent who has reported on the Arab Spring uprising is giving a speech about his experience at South Dakota State University next week.
Freelance journalist Reese Erlich will talk about covering the uprising in Syria, Egypt and Gaza during the Sept. 11 speech at SDSU's Volstorff Ballroom. Erlich has more than 40 years of journalism experience.
The speech is scheduled for 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
The event is sponsored by SDSU's Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and Academic Affairs, the South Dakota World Affairs Council and the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting's Campus Consortium.
