Force Show Appreciation With Win
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Reno Bighorns 105-87 Saturday night in front of a patriotic crowd of 5,052 fans on Military Night. Sioux Falls led by as many as 30 points in the fourth quarter and won for the sixth time in seven games.

Sioux Falls (16-11) jumped out to a double-digit lead (15-5) but Reno battled back for the second straight night to tie the game at 23 apiece. Sioux Falls led 29-26 after one quarter behind 11 points from Demetris Nichols. Sioux Falls outscored Reno 35-23 in the second quarter to take a 64-49 lead into the locker room.

Sioux Falls held Reno (9-14) to 11 points in the third quarter and led 89-60 heading into the final stanza. Sioux Falls maintained a comfortable lead in the final quarter and picked up its fifth straight home victory.

Nichols continued his strong play with a game-high 26 points behind 10-of-15 field goals. Donald Sloan posted 14 points and five assists while Will Foster added 15 rebounds and six blocks.

Marcus Landry scored 21 points and Samardo Samuels recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jerome Jordan added a double-double of his own with 14 points and a season-high 17 rebounds.

Sioux Falls visits Fort Wayne Wednesday night at 6 p.m. CT. Reno returns home to face Santa Cruz Thursday night at 7 p.m. PT.
