Flu Claims Another Life In South Dakota

RAPID CITY, SD -

The Department of Health says another South Dakota resident has died of influenza-related causes last week.

This latest death brings the total number of deaths for this flu season to 36.

Two of those deaths have been pediatric patients, and 11 percent of them have been among Native American patients.

Pennington and Minnehaha counties have both reported five flu deaths.
