October 12, 2012, 9:41 PM by Angela Kennecke

Firehouse Subs Coming To Sioux Falls

A new sub shop chain is coming to Sioux Falls.

Firehouse subs will open in the Greenway Mall near 41st Street and Louise in mid-December.

The franchise owner says he's already exploring the possibility of opening up a second one in the future.

The sub shop will hire 20 to 25 employees at the Sioux Falls location.

Firehouse subs is a Florida restaurant that was started nearly 20 years ago by two former firefighter brothers.

It currently has about 530 shops across the country.
