A South Dakota man did not think twice when he saw a family waiting for a tow truck along Interstate 90 after their motor home broke down.
Forty-seven-year-old David Tolley gave the couple the keys to his vehicle and called his fiancee to come pick him up. After the incident in August, he made headlines across the country as a good Samaritan.
Now, Tolley finds himself in need of help after a fire severely damaged his home earlier this month.
Tolley and his two children are living in a Rapid City motel until they hear back from fire investigators, his landlord and an insurance company.
The New York family he helped along the interstate says they plan on contacting Tolley to offer their help.
