The sound of music overtook downtown Sioux Falls Saturday morning as 41 local and regional high school bands tuned up for the 25th annual Festival of Bands.
The parade and competition draws in 10,000 people from South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska every year.
Awards are given out for both the street and field competition.
