More federal funding is flowing into the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System.
The Secretary of the Interior announced the project will receive $5 million. The money will be used for equipment and approximately three miles of pipeline in Minnesota.
When it's complete, Lewis & Clark will bring water from the Missouri River aquifer into communities in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa.
