A Sioux Falls father is facing his fifth drunk driving charge and is accused of endangering his young son.
Police pulled over 27-year-old Jesse Lyle Florek Friday night around 8:45. Authorities say he was passing people in the turning lane near 41st Street and Spring Avenue.
When they caught up to Florek a few blocks later, he ran away, leaving his 19-month-old son in the car. Police say the boy was in a car seat but not buckled in.
Florek was later arrested and faces a long list of charges when he's in court Monday afternoon.
