One man is dead after being thrown from his motorcycle. Investigators say the 51-year old was headed west on Highway 42, near Six Mile Road, when he rear ended a car, was thrown from his bike, and was hit by two cars traveling the opposite direction.
The biker died at the scene. No one else was hurt.
Lt. James Hoekman from the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department said, "Unfortunately with motorcycles not much protection with a motorcycle and when involved with motorcycle car or motorcycle anything accident unfortunately riders of motorcycle takes brunt of injuries."
