From the classroom to the runway, some Sioux Falls teachers took the stage Thursday night to support their students.
Educators showed off some of the latest styles at Simply Perfect. Everyone who attended was asked to bring in school supplies from a teacher wish-list, and those donations will go right to the classrooms this fall.
"It's important to me personally and also all of us at Simply Perfect and Threads to inspire and uplift those that give so much to our community, and sometimes our teachers are just doing their jobs, but they do so much more than that," Simply Perfect owner Penny Klinedinst said.
Along with the donations to their classrooms, the teachers also received a Vera Bradley handbag in recognition for the role they play in educating Sioux Falls students.
