With three local teams playing in the Summit League Tournament Championships, it’s safe to say the Sioux Falls Arena will be filled with dedicated fans on Tuesday.
South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota will play each other for the women’s championship title.
And that’s a rivalry we haven’t seen in quite some time. But years ago, it was one that got pretty heated at times.
The SDSU men’s team will play against North Dakota State University Tuesday night. That’s a border-to-border rivalry that’s grown considerably over the last few years.
When you put these teams together in one arena, the excitement and the passion from the fans is going to be big.
We’ll have highlights from the fans later today on KELOLAND News.
