SIOUX FALLS, SD -
A KELOLAND mom and dad have two very good reasons to celebrate the uniqueness of 11-11-11.
Lindsey and Tracy Lambert welcomed twin sons Maverick and Memphis on Friday.
Lindsey says she was excited to be able to give them a special birthday because not many people have one on a day that lines up with the month and year.
The twins born Friday morning join big sister, Marley. Their arrival was equally exciting for family members and friends.
"A lot of them were rooting for that 11-11 o'clock time. They think it's pretty cool to have them on a special day. Especially to have two on such a special day!" Lindsey said.
Maverick and Memphis were born a few weeks early and will have to stay in the neonatal care at Sanford. But mom and dad say they are doing just fine.
Sanford had welcomed 9 new babies by early Friday afternoon.
