The South Dakota State Fairgrounds is preparing to host the 2013 Wally Byum International Airstream Caravan.
Fair Manager Jerome Hertel says 450 to 600 rounded aluminum campers will roll into Huron for the rally scheduled for June 27 to July 4.
Hertel says some Airstream owners will arrive in Huron as early as June 12 to set up, hunkering down in some of the more than 1,500 camping spaces at the fairgrounds.
The caravan takes the name of Airstream Trailer Company founder Wally Byum, who died in 1962.
