The Sioux Empire Fair Association will break ground on a new multipurpose building on Wednesday.
The building to be constructed at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds east of the armory is being donated by a yet-to-be-announced Sioux Falls area family.
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on the north end of the fairgrounds,
Officials say the family donating the building will be present at ceremony.
