SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The city of Sioux Falls plans to hold public meetings in the coming weeks to answer questions about a proposed events center.
Residents are scheduled to vote on the facility on November 8. Before that happens, city officials say they want to educate the voters. More than 50 presentations are scheduled for service clubs, civic groups and various Sioux Falls employers. At this time, the public meetings have not been scheduled.
The announcment about the public meetings came during the latest update on the events center, which was given Monday afternoon. In addition, officials also touched on the financing plan for the project and answered a few commonly asked questions.
