Event Brings Farm Memorabilia To SD Fairgrounds

The South Dakota State Fairgrounds will display agricultural memorabilia at the National Red Power Round Up this week.

The event runs from June 26-28 at the fairgrounds in Huron.

State Fair director Jerome Hertel says the show has been several years in the making. It will be the 25th annual celebration, drawing people from around the world.

On display will be a selection of tractors, engines, trucks and equipment, showing the history of the International Harvester Company.

Other exhibits will show household appliances, milking equipment and toy collections

There will be a ranch rodeo, flea market and quilt trunk show. Entertainment includes singer Elaine Peacock and country music from Sherwin Linton and the Cotton Kings.
