A Minnehaha County jury believed the former owner of two adult stores and cleared David Eliason of all allegations in his civil lawsuit.
Eliason had been on trial for the past four days after three former employees accused him of sexual assault and harassment.
The jury of nine men and three women unanimously cleared Eliason of all of the serious allegations the three former cashiers made against him. The accusers said Eliason had sexually assaulted and harassed them when they worked at Annabelle's and Olivia's Adult Stores back in 2007.
No charges were ever brought against Eliason for the alleged incidents and now the former owner has been cleared of all civil accusations as well.
After fighting for the past five years Eliason says he hopes he never steps in another courtroom again.
"It's a huge weight off my shoulders; a huge weight off my family's shoulders. As I stated, no one is a winner. It's just good to have it behind us," Eliason said.
The accusers and their attorneys left out of the back door of the courtroom without commenting.
