Election Day In KELOLAND

Many communities will hit the polls today for local elections.  Sioux Falls voters will choose city council members.

For smaller elections like today's city council race, Sioux Falls now uses "Super Precincts."

The move consolidates several precincts, saving the city $12,000.

The city has added four additional super precincts this election because some were too crowded last May. 

But in the June Primary voters will return to their home precincts to give election workers a chance to prepare for the November presidential election where big crowds are expected.
