East Side Sonic Building To Become A Caribou Coffee

August 6, 2014, 10:30 AM by Angela Kennecke

East Side Sonic Building To Become A Caribou Coffee
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The former Sonic Drive-In that sat empty for two years on East 10th Street will become a Caribou Coffee. The Minnesota-based coffee retailer will add 2,500 square feet of space and remodel the existing building.

The canopy and columns for the old Sonic have been taken down and will be replaced with new accessible parking and landscaping.  The $350,000 project also includes a new drive-up window.

Caribou plans to open at the new location in November. Once open, it will be the fourth location in Sioux Falls.
