Dunes Residents Asked To Avoid Country Club Area
September 1, 2011, 6:07 AM
DAKOTA DUNES, SD -
Dakota Dunes officials are asking residents to avoid the country club area Thursday as crews continue to remove a levee.
They'll be flattening the top of the Pinehurst levee so their trucks can use it as a road to start removing the access ramp.
People who have to use the area despite the request should be prepared for delays.
Homeowners will be able to access their homes with badges as normal after Thursday.
Crews expect to be done removing the levee by mid September.
