Dry Novembers

November 27, 2012, 5:21 PM by Scot Mundt

Dry Novembers

The dry conditions in KELOLAND are nothing new.  We've seen this before in November.  Over the past four Novembers, Sioux Falls has a total of just over an inch.

The wettest November over the past four years was in 2010 with just under a half inch.  The driest was in 2011 with 0.04 of an inch.  Over the past four Novembers, Sioux Falls has averaged only 0.26.

Keep in mind, the average November in Sioux Falls averages just over an inch and a third.  The last time Sioux Falls had above average precip in November was in 2005.  That's when the city had just less than three inches of precip with over 14 inches of snow.

We'll round out the rest of the month and early next month with dry skies.
