A judge sentenced a Sioux Falls man to a maximum five-year sentence Friday for his 4th drunk driving conviction in the past four years.
24-year-old Abdulfatah Farah Ahmed crashed a car into a Wendy's Restaurant sign at 41st and Louise in March.
The force of the crash toppled the sign.
Ahmed's blood-alcohol level was .23-percent, nearly three times over the legal limit.
As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors recommended a suspended sentence for an identity theft charge against Ahmed.
