RAPID CITY, SD - Police in Rapid City believe the driver of a car intentionally hit a pedestrian Monday evening, sending the victim to the hospital.

Fifty-year-old Calvin Alexander is charged with aggravated assault and DUI.

Police say he hit 28-year-old Ernest Little Thunder just before 6:00 p.m. on E. St. Joseph Street.
