It was up for sale for more than two years and now the downtown Wells Fargo Bank building at 101 N. Phillips Avenue has a new owner.
California investor Norman Berris bought the building in 2005 for $5.35 million. This week he sold it to Minneapolis investor Roland Johnson for $6.2 million.
Wells Fargo leases out all six floors, but occupies four of them and sublets the rest. The bank has two years left on its lease and is negotiating an extension.
