SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The Department of Corrections says a prison inmate has died.
Twenty-six-year-old Miller Crazy Mule died at the South Dakota State Penitentiary Monday morning.
Crazy Mule was serving a sentence of 77 years for first-degree degree rape, aggravated assault and first-degree burglary out of Aurora County. The Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating the death, which is standard procedure in the death of an inmate.
Officials say suicide was not the cause of the death and there is no evidence of foul play.
An autopsy will be performed.
