Do You Suffer From Sleep Drunkeness?

August 25, 2014, 3:54 PM by Jaine Andrews

Do You Suffer From Sleep Drunkeness?

You know that groggy feeling when you wake up suddenly?

Doctors now have a new name for that. It's called "Sleep Drunkenness Disorder" and as many as 15 percent of people may experience it.

Sleep Drunkeness sufferers may act in a way that is very strange and confused.  It can also appear as though they don't know where they are or what they're doing. It's also more common in children than adults.

Researchers say the amount of sleep you get could play a role in the problem, but Sleep Drunks exhibited the strange behavior whether they slept a little, or a lot.
