The executive director of the Journey Museum in Rapid City has quit after only three months on the job.
City Councilman Richie Nordstrom says Janna Norby has decided to return to Montana for family and personal reasons. Friday was her last day at the museum that tells the story of western South Dakota's Black Hills.
Norby had replaced Ray Summers, who retired after 11 years. Museum Board Chairwoman Donna Fisher says officials are starting the process of searching for either an interim director or a new full-time director.
