Development Planned For 85th Street & Minnesota Ave.

Orange cones and construction crews will soon fill the southern part of the city for an upcoming expansion project in Sioux Falls.

Along with adding more lanes on Minnesota Avenue, developers are also looking to build apartments, shops and convenience stores near 85th Street and Minnesota Avenue.

It is likely to be the next big intersection in Sioux Falls for development.  Expanding Minnesota Avenue from 85th Street to Harrisburg will help facilitate that growth.

Already, there are townhomes being built near the intersection. A convenience store, office building and restaurant are also planned for the area that will be known as Dakota Crossing.
