South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard asks travelers to slow down on the road as the busy holiday season approaches.
Daugaard says travelers should allow more time on the road to get from place to place. He also wants everyone to designate a sober driver and wear their seatbelts.
For the past two years, South Dakota was had no deaths on its highways over both the Christmas and News Year’s holidays.
