Customers Hope For The $100 Million Jackpot

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Less than a week after South Dakota Powerball prices doubled to $2 per ticket, customers continue to play, hoping for Saturday night's $100 million jackpot.
At Lewis Drug, managers say the cost hike hasn't scared customers away, but they have been more cautious playing the game. And while tickets are more expensive, managers say tickets have better odds.
“I think we had a little more people coming in. Just from me working customer service, we've had constant people coming, telling me, we are still going to buy lottery tickets. So we have the same clientele,” Lewis Drug Manager Sheldon Lewis said.
