Crews On Scene Of Fire South Of Garretson

GARRETSON, SD -

Multiple fire crews are on the scene of a house fire just south of Garretson in Minnehaha County.

Crews from Garretson and Valley Springs were called to 48628 257th Street in rural Garretson around 7:30 Monday morning and arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the two-story home.

Authorities say there were people inside the home when the fire broke out, but everyone got out safely.
