Crazy Days Will Make For A Busy Shopping Weekend

Crazy Days Will Make For A Busy Shopping Weekend

Friday kicks off "Crazy Days" at the Empire Mall for stores who are participating. Store owners say it's a great way to keep the momentum going and to keep customers coming back in the door after the holiday shopping season.

Shoe Diva located at the Empire Mall is slashing a lot of its prices. For some stores, "Crazy Days" is known to kick off the winter or the spring and summer season so it happens twice a year.

"People love crazy days. For us, it's still tradition and for other independent stores throughout the city. It's still tradition and it's a great way to kick off and a great selling event to come out and have fun," Shoe Diva Owner Karla Kuehl said.

"People are just shopped out from Christmas and spending money and there's so much neat merchandise left and I just think people would love to get a bargain," Empire Mall Shopper Peggy McInerney said.

Shoe Diva will have sales starting Friday and go until Monday. The owner is anticipating several hundred people to shop at her store this weekend.
