Two Huron teenagers died in a one-vehicle crash over the weekend.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Emmanuel Martinez lost control of his car while going around a curve on 392nd Avenue in Jerauld County on Sunday. The car went into the east ditch, slid across the highway and rolled several times before coming to rest in the west ditch.
Martinez died at the scene. 16-year-old Marisol Corona died of her injuries at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Neither Martinez nor Corona was wearing a seatbelt and both were thrown from the car.
