Counting Sturgis Annexation Votes

 
They're still counting votes in Meade County to determine whether Sturgis will grow by 18-hundred acres and it could be midnight before they have results.

The City of Sturgis wanted to annex land east of town along highway 34 to bring in more tax revenue.

That would include the Full Throttle Saloon, which is a popular spot during the motorcycle rally. If the annexation goes through, its owners have said they're prepared to move rather than pay the taxes.
