It hasn't been your typical July in KELOLAND. Temperatures have ranged from 68 degrees on July first in Sioux Falls to a high of 92 on July 6. We're about to get another hit of the cooler air for the second half of the weekend, it will be the third time this month.
Our first hit came July first as a Hudson Bay low helped bring in cool Canadian air.
Two weeks later, a strong low pressure system spun through the northern Great Lakes region to bring temps back down to the 60s.
Our set-up this time around is much like July 1 with the Hudson Bay low. The only difference is the temperatures in Canada are warmer than what they were three weeks ago.
While models are not suggesting highs in the 60s this time around, some of the raw numbers are suggesting low 70s on Sunday.
