Although its grand opening is six months away, workers are starting to put the finishing touches on the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Some of those include installing the wood ceilings and tiling the restrooms. Construction crews are also adding in the escalator, LED sports lighting and concession stand equipment.
This work has come a long way since the building's groundbreaking in August of 2012. On Tuesday, city officials will meet to take a look back at all the planning that went into the facility. In fact, designers created more than 1,000 sheets of architectural drawings for the new Events Center before it was built.
