City Selects MN Construction Company For Events Center

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The city of Sioux Falls has selected a construction company out of Minnesota to work on plans for an events center.
The city announced Thursday afternoon that it will work with Mortenson Construction on the project.
"As the construction manager of multiple events centers across the Midwest and nationally, we look forward to working closely with the Sioux Falls community and local builders to bring this project to reality," Ken Sorensen, Vice President and General Manager of Mortenson Construction's Minneapolis office, said in a statement.
The team will be introduced at the City Council Informational Meeting on Monday, February 14, at 4 p.m.
Other companies interviewed include Hunt Construction Group and Fiegen Construction, and Sioux Falls Construction and Henry Carlson Joint Venture.
